What is Clearpay?
Clearpay makes budgeting easier by splitting your payments into four instalments. You pay the first instalment when you place your Carbon Theory order, and the final three will be taken from your bank account every two weeks. Clearpay is completely interest-free when you make your payments on time, but there is a fee if your payments are late. Please make sure you shop responsibly and only buy what you’re sure you can afford – head over to Clearpay’s terms & conditions if you need any extra info or support.How does it work?
- STEP ONE: ADD TO CART -Add your products to cart and hit Check Out.
- STEP TWO: CHOOSE HOW TO PAY - Select Clearpay as your payment method & you’ll be taken to Clearpay to fill in a quick form; it’ll only take a minute.
- STEP THREE: CHECK OUT - Once you place your order, you’ll pay for the first instalment and Clearpay will take care of the rest in the coming weeks. Don’t forget: while it’s great that you get to receive your order upfront, it’s really important that you only shop for what you’re confident you can afford – you should always plan ahead for those fortnightly instalments.

As a reminder: Clearpay is interest-free, but you will have to pay a late fee if you miss one of your payments. Thankfully Clearpay will send you helpful reminders leading up to your payment due date, and you'll also get a notification if a payment fails for any reason. Clearpay won't affect your credit score, because it doesn't notify credit agencies of failed or missed payments, but it’s super important that you keep on top of your payments and stay mindful about what you can afford. We’d always recommend thinking ahead before you use Clearpay to make sure you’ll have enough money to pay all of your future installments.
