Can I use the Facial Cleansing Bar alongside medicated gel?
We recommend using our Facial Cleansing Bar on its own. However, when in doubt, we recommend speaking to your doctor.
Is the Facial Cleansing Bar suitable for people with eczema?
All skin is different, but studies show that the high glycerin base and shea butter we add to our Facial Cleansing Bar leave your skin feeling healthy, hydrated and nourished but not greasy. What is the pH level of the Facial Cleansing Bar?
Our Facial Cleansing Bar has a pH of 9.5. It’s a mild alkaline that's gentle yet effective.
Is the Facial Cleansing Bar suitable for use on the chest and back?
Of course! Our Facial Cleansing Bar can be used on both the face and body, but for a little extra exfoliation, check out our Exfoliating Body Bar.
How many times a day should I use the Facial Cleansing Bar?
We recommend using our Facial Cleansing Bar morning and evening, followed by a moisturiser (and our SPF in the morning!)
How should I store my Facial Cleansing Bar?
We recommend popping your bar back in its resealable packaging once it’s dried out after use.

How often should I use the Overnight Detox Serum?
We recommend using the Overnight Detox Serum daily in your evening skincare routine if you’re experiencing an active breakout.
How does this product work?
Our Overnight Detox Serum contains charcoal, tea tree oil and encapsulated cranberry. It’s an intensely hydrating overnight treatment that prevents and clears breakouts.
Can I use the Overnight Detox Serum with a moisturiser?
Although our serum is nourishing enough to use without a moisturiser, you can still apply your favourite moisturiser after use if you prefer.
How do I use the Overnight Detox Serum?
Apply a small amount of the serum to cleansed skin and massage gently to burst the beads and release the cranberry extract.

How do the Cleansing Pads work?
Our lab-formulated pads are soaked in exfoliating glycolic acid that resurfaces and retextures the skin to reveal a brighter, smoother complexion.
What is the percentage of glycolic acid in the Cleansing Pads?
The percentage of glycolic acid is 3%.
How many pads do you get in a pack?
Each pack includes 60 pads. If used daily, a single pack can last for two months.
Can you use the Carbon Theory Cleansing Pads instead of the Facial Cleansing Bar?
Our Cleansing Pads are best used as a second cleanse. We recommend using them after cleansing with the Facial Cleansing Bar and before the Facial Purifying Tonic.
Are the Carbon Theory Cleansing Pads biodegradable?
Yes! We reformulated our Cleansing Pads so they’re now biodegradable.
Can the Carbon Theory Cleansing Pads help with scarring?
Our Cleansing Pads contain glycolic acid - an ingredient that can help to reduce the appearance of acne scars with consistent use.
What fruit extracts are used in the Cleansing Pads?
ACB Fruit Mix is based on an extraction blueberry, sugar cane, orange, lemon and sugar maple.

Our Spot Paste doesn't need to be used every day. You can use it whenever you have an active breakout.
